Video Not Working? Fix It Now

In this video, I outline Michael Graziano's Attention Schema Theory (AST), a more detailed account of how consciousness - and our idea that there is a 'hard problem' of consciousness - might arise entirely from neural computations. This is the first theory of consciousness that I have felt genuinely satisfied by, and there is a lot more to learn about it if you want to follow this video up by looking at Graziano's work. His book, 'Rethinking Consciousness', on Amazon: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rethinking-Consciousness-Scientific-Subjective-Experience/dp/0393652610 A lecture he has given explaining the theory: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlDBYAJ1oUw An episode of 'Robinson's Podcast' in which he talks about consciousness and morality: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BionJ56KaVw ________ This channel's Patreon (thank you very much to anybody who donates): https://www.patreon.com/c/simonroper A video about our upcoming film projects: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-65GdG_44K4&t=1s
