Video Not Working? Fix It Now

Sorry for the longer wait in between videos this time guys! We have a lot more content planned for the near future that we'll be getting out much more consistently. JRPGs may have started out as good ol' fashioned turn-based games, but over the years it's become more of an umbrella term that features different forms of RPG gameplay beneath it. Turn-based will always be the OG style, but strategy RPGs like Fire Emblem and action RPGs like Ys are generally included with the term JRPG these days as well considering they are role playing games from Japan, just different forms of them. This video takes a brief look back at how each of the gameplay styles have evolved over the years along with some of my personal favorite examples of each type of battle system.
