The Hundred Days (1998) This is the 19th book in the series that began with Master and Commander featuring the exploits of Officer Jack Aubrey in the Royal Navy during the Napoleonic wars. The Hundred Days refers to Napoleon who had been defeated and exiled, returning to France with his supporters. He raises an army and resumes his battles in which many tens of thousands of soldiers are killed or wounded. (What did they expect he would do?) Anyway, Jack Aubrey’s adventures continue. Enjoy!
A brief Bio of Mr. O’Brian and Mr. Hardy can be found in the description of the Master and Commander audiobook here on GBOT. The Hundred Days was released 2 years before the author’s death. RIP
