The name Emmett Watson doesn't register with many outside those with an interest in pulp fiction. Nevertheless he was one of its staunchest and most enduring illustrators during his career and unfortunately short life. I had him earmarked for a future unsung heroes appearance, but as luck would have it his grandson Jim Watson made contact and pointed me in the direction of his website at emmettwatson.com.
