Bunessan, a small village in the south-west of the Isle of Mull, Scotland, is the base for our visit to the Ross of Mull. We look at the Historical Centre, then drive to Ardalanish Weavers and Uisken Bay. Finally we walk from Bunessan to the scanty remains of the prehistoric fort of Dunan Mor.
The music is a traditional Gaelic melody which was set to a hymn by Mary Macdonald who lived in Bunessan. The tune was renamed Bunessan and is sung to the words of 'Morning has broken'.
