American Express Unstaged: The Killers live from the Paradise Theater in the Bronx, New York, Tuesday, September 18th, 2012. The global event (live concert and live stream) coincides with the debut of The Killers’ highly anticipated album, BATTLE BORN (Island Def Jam) in the U.S.
Award-winning director Werner Herzog (Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans, Encounters at the End of the World, Fitzcarraldo, and Aguirre, The Wrath of God), known for pushing cinematic boundaries, was brought together with The Killers by American Express to capture the performance with a visually stunning home viewing experience. “We're so honored to work with Werner Herzog," said Killers front man Brandon Flowers. "He's made some legendary films and we can't believe we got him to do this.”
