Why, hello everyone! :) I hope you had a great Halloween, and because I wanted to post all spooky things in October, I didn't have have time to edit this video so I would like to bring it to you now. This video is about the park known as The Land Of Oz located in Beech Mountain, North Carolina. The Land Of Oz first opened on June 15, 1970 and was fully operational until 1980. On December 28, 1975, a fire was set to Emerald City Amphitheater and surrounding gift shops. Two buildings were destroyed, along with the park's offices, costumes, sound equipment, and props. At the same time many items were stolen including Judy Garland's Dorothy dress. The park rebuilt, but was never the same and if even was said to sit abandoned for months. Eventually the park re opened as special events and in the mid nineties they started a festival which is still happens today every year on the month of September known as Autumn At Oz Festival.
