My longest Grom ride yet! We push our 125cc Groms and Z’s to the limit with a 160 mile ride through the smoky mountain twisties. Just to prove that the Honda Grom does it all!
While the top speed on the Honda Grom (MSX 125) isn’t anything to write home about, the bike is extremely nimble in the tight corners. I give you guys my review of the Michelin Power Pure tires as well as some feedback on my new Zoom Brute Exhaust. Overall, these bikes did amazing and completely surpassed my expectations on what they are capable of. I understand why people turn Groms into track bikes or make them dedicated Canyon Carvers.
Our ride consisted of going to roughly the mid point of Idaho, stopping for a quick bite, and then back on full throttle. To be honest, we all must have been pinned for several hours and the Groms took the abuse. Both the Grom and the Kawasaki Z are extremely reliable and nobody had any issues during the ride. I would have no problem taking my Grom on a longer road trip in the future as long as I had some spare tools with me! I hope you guys enjoy the video!
