The tin dog was a popular tool of the sheepherder. Most Tin Dogs you will find today are wall hangers but some are still in use. The purpose is to move livestock and to scare off predators. Is it blacksmithing? Debatable...but it was a fun video to make and keep a little piece of history alive. We hope you enjoy it!
