In 2012, Austrian skydiver Felix Baumgartner set the world record for the highest-altitude free-fall. In 2014, his record was broken by Alan Eustace, a 56-year-old Google engineer. Working in utmost secrecy, Alan and his small team created a new spacecraft to take him into the stratosphere. The road to the stars was paved with engineering challenges, incredible obstacles, and near-death experiences.
