Wow...I don't think ANYBODY had this on their calendar. The 2024 New York Mets IN the Postseason and actually COMING BACK and NOT letting their fans down! It's a sight to behold! What a playoff road that consisted of a bunch of placeholders for their bigger focus...which was the next season. But just like a certain 2004 Red Sox team twenty years ago, they said "Why Not Us?" and took everyone down in their path. A miracle run of miracle runs. With their leaders Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso, with Brandon Nimmo and Edwin Diaz as their supporting cast, they had a playoff run for the ages. One that Mets fans will NEVER forget.
