This is a superb study in all aspects of maintaining and increasing the cycling performance over and above the midlife mark. Physiological topics are covered with multiple contributions from doctors, rehabilitation specialists and scientists.
The author Phil Cavell is a leading expert in bike fit and the book also includes multiple experiences in dealing with the possible implications and problems of riding the bike.
My main point of discussion is the pedalling technique, where I struggle to agree with the author’s downstroke dominant approach, where I prefer a circular action movement.
Let me know in the comment your experience, I would love to hear your feedback in this area that I believe is fundamental for a correct power release.
As usual, thank you for watching.
