In todays episode I will visit the incredible Ollon Valley in Toraja, South Sulawesi, Indonesia.
But first we enter Tana Toraja from Mamasa province down the unfinished trans Sulawesi highway which is the worst road I have ever drove before.
We visit Toraja's best waterfall, Air Terjun Sarambu Ratte Balla. Which lies just on the border between Toraja and West Sulawesi.
We check into a homestay and live in a traditional Toraja house, a Tongkonan house with a huge roof.
It's then we visit the funeral (Rambu Solo) that Toraja is so famous for. And finish off in Church where it's the harvest festival. Very unique experience indeed.
Finally we make out way to the incredible OIllon Valley which is the most beautiful place I have been in Sulawesi, the rolling hills have these strange criss-cross patterns on them and the scenery looks like Sumba or Komodo. But instead it's Hidden here in the middle of Sulawesi with the mighty Sadang River flowing through it.
