Stoke City have among the richest owners in world football, no other teams in the top two tiers of English football within almost an hour of them, and they have spent an absolute fortune over the past decade.
And yet, Stoke just seem to be getting progressively worse, now finding themselves just one place above the Sky Bet Championship relegation zone.
