The Mountain is My Life, the Animals are My Family – Winter, Play, and Joy in the Snow.
Overnight, the snow came and covered everything like a soft, fluffy blanket. The entire homestead looked like a winter fairy tale-quiet, peaceful, and so beautiful that it made me forget all my worries. The fresh air, sparkling snow, and peaceful atmosphere made everything feel just right. We're all doing well, enjoying the beauty of winter. I grabbed the shovel and cleared a path through the yard, turning the place into our own little playground.
After finishing up outside, I went into the kitchen and started cooking something special for my beloved dogs. I prepared a tasty meal for them but left it to cool-their culinary treat would come later. In the meantime, the fun continued! We grabbed the nylon sheet and slid down the snow. Tara was the first, gliding like the wind, followed by Bruno, just as excited. We laughed, joked, and had the best time together.
The five little puppies, still too young for such adventures, stayed inside where it was warm. They could hear all the laughter and fun outside and peeked curiously through the window, tilting their heads as if saying, "Hey, when's it our turn?" - but they'll have to grow a little more first. For now, they stay cozy inside, safe from the winter chill.
After all the outdoor fun, I came back inside and enjoyed a warm cup of tea, savoring every sip while watching the snowflakes continue to fall. Later, I treated myself to a piece of pork roasted over the embers-it turned out perfectly, juicy, and full of flavor. Absolutely delicious, just what I needed after a cold winter's day.
After everyone had eaten and my furry friends enjoyed their meal, we went outside for one more round of sliding in the snow. The snowflakes kept falling gently, covering everything in white as we played and laughed. It truly felt like something out of a storybook.
It was a day full of simple joys, laughter, and the peaceful charm of mountain life. Moments like these remind me how beautiful life can be when you're surrounded by nature and those you love.
