Despite being born without toes on his dominant foot, Tom Dempsey kicked a 63-yard field goal, which was a record for 43-years. It was a last second, game winning kick to lead the Saints past the Lions, but not everyone liked it. Thanks to Cowboys president and GM Tex Schramm, the NFL adjusted its rulebook so anyone without a full foot didn't have an "advantage."
