This incredibly historical old place originally began as a tavern/ stagecoach stop and travelers rest. Built sometime around 1820-1830. The tavern would operate up until around the civil war when it was converted into a private residence sometime around 1870. The house would transfer multiple owners over the years until finally being bought by a married couple in the 1970’s. The couple would live in the home until passing away in the 1990’s-2000’s. Sadly now the house sits vacant and crumbling away. So many beautiful old details inside like the stained glass windows in the attic. Also ran into a few bats up there waiting for night. Really incredible old place, glad I was able to document it while it’s still around. Thank you for watching. Like and leave a comment below for me if you enjoyed. Thank you very much.
