幡屋神社は島根県雲南市にある神社で、御祭神として瓊々杵命(ニニギノミコト)をお祭りしています。
現存する風土記の中で唯一完本の状態で、日本神話を今に伝える『出雲風土記』にも記されている由緒あるこの神社では古くから七座神事が執り行われて来ました。
現宮司である波多野竹彦さんにその云われをインタビューしました。
Hataya Shrine is a shrine located in Unnan City, Shimane Prefecture, and is dedicated to Ninigi no Mikoto as a deity.
This historic shrine, which is the only complete book of the existing mentioned in the "Izumo Fudoki" that conveys Japanese mythology to the present day, has been performing the Shichiza Shinto ritual since ancient times.
We interviewed Takehiko Hadano, the current priest, about the story.
