The tenth of February marks the 300 years anniversary of the death of Bartholomew Roberts, purportedly the greatest pirate of his age. Nowadays we call him "Black Bart", but back then he was known simply as "The Great Pyrate". With his powerful flagship and the usage of fear tactics, he was able to force hundreds of ships into submission, and terrify entire colonies.
