The Plymouth Duster is a Mostly Forgotten MOPAR Coupe That Was Loved Against The Odds

Video Not Working? Fix It Now

There was a time when Dusters were some of the most prolific cars on the road - pretty much everybody had one or knew someone who did. The reason for that was pretty simple - It was a good looking car, not too small and not too big, with available V8 power, and all for a very reasonable price. This was a formula that worked. The Duster ran from 1970 until 1976, and compete with a wide variety of cars - those as small as the Beetle to as large as the Nova. And it held it's own. The hot rod versions are considered by many to be true muscle cars, and with the 340ci V8 and factory high performance equipment, they could top or equal much more expensive rivals - the benefits of lightness with plenty of horsepower. This is a full review and test drive of a 1973 Plymouth Duster with 54K miles in all original condition.
