Defense maps are often used to mechanically represent tense moments in Fire Emblem stories. Castle sieges, assassination attempts, defending a powerful mage as they cast a spell. Unfortunately, these moments are often let down by dull defense maps.
I look at a bad defense map and a good one to discuss the differences between the two!
