Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeace, Persona 3 Reload, Metaphor: ReFantazio... What do they all have in common? Physical conquers all of them. But how far does Atlus's history with this inclination towards physical builds actually date back? Everyone knows about Persona 4 Hassou Tobi and SMT Nocturne's Freikugel, but how much farther does it go? In this video, I take a look back at SMT & Persona's strange fixation on physical and strength based skills. From the classic Megami Tensei games to the classic Persona 1 and 2 games to Persona 5, I tried to pick the examples that I am most familiar with. Is there a cause or reason for Atlus's weird obsession with physical?
