Hey Guys,
Anyone who has come from or even used another NLE knows that Avid Media Composer has it's own quirky way of managing proxies in it's workflow. Respect it and you'll have a much smoother edit. Don't follow it the way Avid requires and...you can be in for a rough time!
In this video I'll go through the whole process. I'll explain what the Proxy workflow is, between offline and online editing. I'll show you how to make your proxies as well as how to relink them back to the source once you've locked your edit.
