About this video: My stay in the San Diego area for part of July 2024 wasn’t long enough for me to capture every railroad crossing in San Diego, so I tried to get videos of as many as I could. Starting at West Laurel Street and moving south, all of these crossings are just north of San Diego’s Santa Fe Depot except for the last 2 which are located just south of San Diego’s main freight yard (south of downtown near the Barrio Logan neighborhood). The last 2 crossings are located on a BNSF-only section of track and feature some local yard and industrial moves which is why there are many different angles of the same train as it switches out the yard. Note that the first videos (taken at the West Laurel Street crossing) show an interesting incident with a truck that took place while I was filming at the crossing - all of my footage of this as well as some more details and descriptions of the events that took place can be found in my separate video: https://youtu.be/nRpJcS8egwQ?si=ngMdtyvE41ckX_Xh
