I have been screaming to Backrooms videos for a couple years now, but is the true horror the windows that were covered up along the way? In 2019, the famous photo was posted on a forum. The lore of the Backrooms started there and began the hunt for the real location of the Backrooms.
The real building was found and by tracing the history of the building we learn about the architecture trends of the 70s, losses on main street, and the explosion of big box stores.
