Redux has fallen out of favour with React devs. It's seen as being outdated, cumbersome, and having a steep learning curve. Since Dan Abramov introduced Redux to the world in 2015, there has been a proliferation of state management tools in the ecosystem. Whilst some others believe that you don't even need a state management solution these days. However, Redux has managed to stay relevant by continuing to adapt, shipping new features, and reducing the overhead associated with using it.
Some folks in the community may consider taking a second look at Redux after seeing how a large engineering team is using it effectively in 2024 👀
