In the height of the tech industry, everyone was learning to code, with the promise of a cushy 6-figure jobs within just few months of sealf-teaching coding.
This all seemed almost too god to be true, until, of course, it was.
Starting 2022, the fall of the tech industry has been as quick as its rise 10 years ago.
Today in 2025, coding is considerably “less cool” - when it’s harder to get an “easy, high paying job fast” - much less people are interested in learning to code, with more and more people now thinking cushy coding jobs are a thing of the past, or reserved only for those who already have experience.
This all begs the question: when, if ever, will tech jobs come back?
