In this video presentation, we follow the the South Shore Line in search of hard working Traction Orange GP38-2s plying the rails of America's Last Interurban. We'll see lots of steel traffic, loaded coal trains, and other heavy trains as they navigate the extreme grades and curves only found on the South Shore.
On my last project, it was suggested that I include a map of the railroad as we follow it. Because of the nonlinear nature of this video vs. the IHB one, I did not do so. However, a FANTASTIC resource exists that includes a scrolling map of the entire railroad, complete with Double Track NWI additions. I highly recommend you use it while watching to keep track of where we are - I myself used it heavily while writing the script:

And per the usual, I sympathize with those who just want to hear pure uncut EMD noise. An unnarrated version of the video can be found here:

Thanks for watching!
The Much Too Long Creator's Note:
I've finally amassed a large enough video library that I have several more projects that can be completed today if I tried. As such, I'm planning on (finally) beginning a regular upload schedule for the time being... be on the look out for a new video every other Friday from this point forward!
