When I talked last week about why I write in the LitRPG genre, I alluded that there were certain rules that governed what makes a story LitRPG. This week I'm finally going to divulge what those rules are.
This is not to say these are definitive or that you can't twist them a bit, but these rules are what makes LitRPG what it is, and again, if you take subversion too far, a genre stops being what it originally was and becomes a different genre.
So lets dive in on the rules for LitRPG!
