Hey guys, in this video, I’m breaking down the sad state of American Express in 2025 and why I’m taking my business elsewhere for now. After a frustrating experience applying for the Amex Business Platinum, I realized Amex has been going downhill for a while now between Amex Pop-Up Jail, declining customer service, higher annual fees on cards like the Amex Gold and Amex Platinum, and stricter lounge access and welcome offer rules. I'm not saying their cards are bad for everyone... if you get positive value from them naturally, that's great! But if you’ve been wondering if Amex credit cards are worth it or if you should apply for an Amex credit card, I hope this video helps you out.
