Agariyas are a community of salt farmers found in the Little Rann of Kutch in Gujarat. They move from their respective villages to the desert for eight months to farm salt in harsh weather conditions.
Living in tents and battling the lack of basic necessities such as drinking water, education, healthcare facilities etc, they aim to produce the salt that we enjoy in our food every day.
