In 1976, Jerry Lawson and a team form Fairchild Channel F developed a brand new video game system. The game was revolutionary, complete with a microprocessor and game cartridges. These new innovations created the Second Generation of Home Console Systems, comprised of the ColecoVision, Intellivision, Atari 2600, Atari 5200, and the very strange Vectrex.
In today’s video, we will review these systems and more, discussing the incredible innovations, potential and games that came out between 1976-1983. We will also take a look at hand-held systems, including the Game & Watch.
