This Beef Stew is sure to be a winner with the family! It has a great depth of flavor and makes a rich gravy.
Ingredients
3-4lb chuck roast
3 slices bacon (optional or add olive oil)
salt/ pepper to taste
2 tsp beef bouillon
1 tsp garlic power, onion powder
1/2 tsp dried thyme
fresh rosemary, sage, thyme
1 dark beer
6-7 cup bone broth (mine is unsalted)
5 tbsp tomato paste
1/4 cup flour
1 lb brown mushrooms
3 carrots
1 medium onion
2 celery ribs
6 cloves garlic
baby potatoes
1 in cinnamon stick (optional)
4 allspice berries
