It was a mighty fall from grace and an unbelievable turn of events for the Sega Sports label. I'm now on Patreon! All footage captured on real hardware. 2. I captured 5 games in total. 2 games I played through myself and the other 3 I simulated for extra footage. I did this so I could get some extra film with the different stadiums, weather effects, teams, and camera angles. 3. There were other NFL games on the Saturn. Madden 97 and 98 are the best options while NFL Quarterback Club 96 and 97 are average at best. 4. It must be said that Sega Sports didn't have a drop in quality with NFL football alone. It took Sega a couple entries with virtually all of their sports titles to get the quality up. World Series Baseball was pretty much the lone franchise to be great right from jump. 5. I'm always tickled at how easily non sports fans dismiss sports games. It's almost like they pretend they had no bearing on the market just because they didn't like them. Sports games are huge sellers every single year and have been for decades now. Much of Sega's NA success with the Genesis is based on their sports franchises.
