This is a very interesting episode and certainly a change of pace for FishingMad. This time I venture up to Ballarat to investigate the concerns of growing of European Carp numbers in Lake Wendouree. I'm joined by the team at the VFA ( Victorian Fisheries Authority ) as we conduct some fishing and electrofishing in this premier trout fishing destination to get a better understanding of the brown trout, rainbow trout, redfin ( English perch ), tench, and European Carp in there.
Lake Wendouree is a wonderful fishing spot in the heart of Ballarat, its been stocked with almost 500,000 trout and is home to some massive redfin and healthy population of tench.
