This classic camera turned everyone into a photographer! This was manufactured by Kodak out of Bakelite from 1938 to 1954. It has all mechanical operation -- a manual winder and a mechanical shutter. Classic optical viewfinder and NO settings! No meters, focus, aperture or shutter speed to fiddle with, but it still turned out some pretty decent photos. It used 127 film on a roll that had to be manually wound onto a take-up spindle. I demonstrate the shutter in the video -- and it still works!
This one belonged to my mom, and I (probably) used it during the 70s. Check out the negatives and photos I took on Memorial Day in 1974!
