ERRATA:
1. In spite of what I show in the video, you should not jump as much as I did when using the Air Strike. It should be used like a normal rocket launcher with an expandable clip except for bulky targets that benefit from the burst. So far, this does not change my opinion that the Air Strike is a situational, relatively high-skill launcher that is underwhelming in the early game.
2. Benefits of the Battalion's Backup also include negation of "crit knockback" and damage falloff elimination from crits.
Another Smissmas Day release! There seems to be a lot of confusion regarding how to play as The Soldier, so hopefully this video will clear up some things regarding Rocket Specialist, "tap firing", and whether or not to buy Firing Speed. Includes nearly 28 minutes of juicy Soldier action, thanks in part to the fact that he has SO MANY WEAPONS and due to the extra PSA section at the end. Hopefully, no future videos in the series will be this long, except maybe The Engineer and The Medic.
