Hi Folks,
Today my first jam with the Spice. It escalated quickly, I actually only wanted to jam for a few minutes and after a few minutes I had already connected so many ins and outs that I couldn't help but continue playing with the patch.
I used the two sequencers of the Spice as the main source for the pitch changes on the Craves and also installed some randomizations via the hold/reset inputs. In order not to create too much disharmony at the beginning, I tuned the patterns on the Craves more or less to the same fundamental tone and only programmed accents, rachets, octaves and glides no additional melodys (With the exception of crave 1)
I routed Spice and edge Audio to two Craves (Mix1/Mix2) and used the mixer function so that I don't have more than 4 audioouts. In addition, I can route every Crave again via Phones out to a Delay, with the small submixer on the craverack.
It's not my most creative jam but the abundance of options that have now come through the spice are so overflowing that I have to develop a new workflow first. I just wanted to show a practical application and not make another boring "the spice is there-sounds no talking" video.
Anyone who has read this far is a real nerd in the best sense. I apologise for not describing the patch very precisely, but this is not supposed to be a scientific treatise and I wanted to upload the video today. 😀
I try to answer friendly questions about the patch in the comments.
