This poor machine came from relatives boiler room. It was standing there for many years and was exposed to smoke, therefore the horrible condition of the machine. Before that it was used for washing dirty farm clothes and has never properly maintained.
However...nothing that my hands couldn't handle and since it was not heavily used the drum and outer tube are in excellent condition.
It's a very repairable machine...nothing fancy. Classic but gold.
For intermezzo...Series ”New Line” were launched in 1987 after series ”International by Gorenje” and was also the last serie that lasted during transition in 1991 when Slovenia broke away from Yugoslavia and became an independent country. Gorenje Titovo Velenje - Gorenje Gospodinjski Aparati.
All the rubber parts were changed, water inlets, capacitor, bearings , timer axle repaired , door bowl was changed for a glass one and of course all of the much needed cosmetic work was done.
