A video about residual current circuit breakers - also called differential circuit breakers, or simply RCDs, but also circuit breakers or even electric shock fuses. For beginners and others, from scratch.

I will present:
- what are they used for and what are they supposed to protect against?
- how they are constructed - Ferranti transformer,
- how do residual current circuit breakers, also known as anti-shock circuit breakers, work,
- What parameters do they have and how are they selected,
- how to connect,
- how to check - test, time and current measurement.

The film is intended for beginners, so there will be some simplifications and some, in my opinion, most important issues regarding residual current circuit breakers will be discussed. I will omit or greatly simplify, for example, legal and formal issues regarding measurements - I want to focus more on the topic from the perspective of the user rather than the perspective of the designer or measurer.
