Black Superheroes are hot right now in pop culture but they have been around for a long time, just not in big numbers. In this video we celebrate them. This list concentrates on legacy heroes, meaning the character is 10 years or older. I will do another list called the Top 10 NEW Black Superheroes in the future featuring developing characters fresh on the scene from 2010 to the present. As you might guess Miles Morales makes the OG all time list despite being created in 2011. Marvel and DC dominant the list but 1 indie comic comic does make the top 10 in Col. Al Simmons aka Spawn.
RULES FOR TOP 10 BLACK SUPERHEROES OF ALL TIME LIST.
1. Legacy heroes. They must be at least 10 years old
2. Character has to be Black from conception. No race swapped heroes.
3. This is my personal list. Feel free to post your own top 10 list.
