Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem are actually cousins. However, despite claims that Baby Keem is an industry plant simply due to his connections with Kendrick, the truth is the two haven't always had the closest relationship. After Keem would move to Las Vegas as a kid, the two wouldn't see each other for almost 10 years.
