Live and Let Die is the eighth James Bond film, released in 1973, and based on Ian Fleming's novel. It follows 007 (played by Roger Moore in his first appearance as the iconic agent) as he investigates the mysterious deaths of British agents, leading him to a powerful and dangerous drug lord, Dr. Kananga, in the Caribbean. Bond uncovers Kananga’s plot to flood the market with free heroin and thwart his plans with the help of CIA agent Felix Leiter and a beautiful bond girl named Solitaire. The film is known for its action-packed sequences, a memorable theme song by Paul McCartney and Wings, and its introduction of more supernatural elements, including the use of tarot cards.
