One of the hardest things about being a boat mechanic is telling the customer that their boat is worse than we thought. We had told the owner that he should sell this boat months ago because he's going to keep dumping money into it. The owner loves his boat though and would rather try to fix all of the problems than see it go. The truth is some broken boats are too far gone.
