The Sega Saturn SAROO is basically a FPGA hardware emulation everdrive/flash cart that's open-source a cart project that got it’s start several years ago before going dormant, then being revitalized and ultimately coming to market about a year ago through numerous Chinese vendors on AliExpress and eBay.
