I just recently came across these tongs on Facebook. After a little digging, I learned they are called Ring and Post Tongs - and they are made for holding bowls or bowl shaped material. I love anything unusual so I had to make a set for myself. Let me tell you - I love these things! I used them for an upcoming project and they blew me away by how well they held my material.
