If you're only going to Scotland in the summer, you're missing out!
In winter, I trekked and climbed some of the highest mountains of Scotland - the untamed highlands, many miles from civilisation. I went solo, packing food to last a week. I survived three snowstorms, with winds up to 30 mph, during the journey (one of which you can see in this video). Meditation at its best!

THE JOURNEY
Most of the footage is taken near the wider region around Cluanie, and upwards, Alltbeithe. I summited the following mountains as shown in this video:
• Sgùrr nan Ceathreamhnan (1151m) - my personal favourite, in the heart of the highlands and surrounded by many other 1100m peaks
• Mam Sodhail (1181m) - my second favourite
• Mullach Fraoch-choire (1102m) - a grade I technical climb in winter
• A' Chralaig (1120m) - beautiful views over Lake Cluanie
