Acts 14:4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. The Greek word for Easter is “Pascha” meaning “Passover” or “After Passover”. Over 700 years later it was referred to as something else. It was also associated with spring and the fairytale of hunting for eggs and rabbits, and when you look around the world a lot of different other things. But the truth remains in the Bible. It is not pagan. It doesn’t mean bunny, rabbits or German goddesses — it has to do with Jesus.
