Video Not Working? Fix It Now

The Yorkshire Dales is a special place for me personally, having spent many a happy holiday there as a child. But as our son was small, we also had holidays there. In many ways, when I was taking the photographs and video clips for this short movie, I wanted to do what my mother would have done, and that would have been to paint a picture for you with the stunning valleys, moorland and meadows, rivers and streams, the drystone walls, field barns dotted across the landscape and outstanding limestone formations, all of which can be found in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. However, I can't paint, but I hope this video shows part of the Yorkshire Dales so that if you've not been, you may desire to go, or if you've been, to go again. I'm aware there are many areas that I've not included, but hope to make a follow up at some point. The Yorkshire Dales has many moods; it can be wild and windswept (as in the Wuthering Heights song by Kate Bush - "Out on the wily, windy moors, we'd roll and fall in green..."). As I tried to film in Ribblehead, the thick fog came down to completely block any views, and yet this wonderful expanse of the Yorkshire Dales can also be quietly tranquil. So do enjoy this short film. And do click the "Subscribe" button and the "Like" button - and please feel free to pass it on. Thank you for watching.
