Kylo Ren might be scarier than Darth Vader, and here's why:
He lacks emotional control, especially at the start of the trilogy.
Licensed therapist Jonathan Decker and filmmaker Alan Seawright walk through Kylo Ren's (played spectacularly by Adam Driver) journey back to the light and redemption, discussing some of the trauma, issues, and relationships that led him down that path to the dark side and back. From killing his father Han Solo and other father figures (Snoke and Luke Skywalker - well, at least trying to kill Luke), to sparing Leia, to whatever his complicated relationship is with Rey... these relationships are at the heart of this villain's psychology, or pathology.
